City residents dispose of unwanted items during Fall Clean up. Hazardous materials NOT accepted. City utility bill stub and drivers license accepted as proof of residency. What can be placed in the dumpster? YES - household trash, large items like bicycles/scrap metal, appliances (certified free of freon or CFCs), tree limbs or brush, plumbing fixtures. NO - paint cans with paint, aerosol cans with contents, cans or bags of pesticides/herbicides, appliances with freon or CFC/liquids or solvents/drums, mattresses, tires, oil filters, motor oil, batteries, non recyclable cable-insulated/steel cable/copper base cable, dirt or concrete, asbestos items, construction debris.
